Groups & Students

In the teacher portal, your teaching workload is structured around My Groups and My Students. From here, you can view student lists, review class schedules, track academic performance, and configure specific course options.

1. My Groups​

Where to find it: Navigation Menu → My Groups

This page lists all the class groups assigned to you for the current academic year. Each group is represented by a card showing:

  • Group name and code (e.g., English B2 - Group 1).
  • Number of enrolled students.
  • Weekly teaching hours and schedule.

Clicking on a group card opens the Group Detail page.

2. Group Detail Tabs​

The detail page of a class group is structured into four main tabs:

A. Sessions​

Lists all scheduled class sessions for this group in a list or calendar format.

  • Browse upcoming sessions or view past classes.
  • Displays the assigned classroom and the attendance status (Recorded / Pending) for each slot.

B. Attendance​

A consolidated attendance sheet specific to this group.

  • Displays the overall attendance rate of each student in this group.
  • Helps you quickly identify students with high absence rates who may need support.

C. Gradebook​

The group-specific grading sheet.

  • Displays students' scores for all assignments, tests, and quizzes linked to this group.
  • Allows you to input or update grades directly in the spreadsheet grid.

D. Course Settings​

Certain group configurations can be customized by you as the teacher:

  • Description & Syllabus Notes: Write notes regarding the curriculum or expectations.
  • Visibility Settings: Toggle whether students can view the class average.
Teacher Permissions Boundary

Teachers cannot enroll or remove students from a group, nor can they edit tuition plans or fee schemes. These tasks are strictly reserved for the School Administrator.

3. My Students​

Where to find it: Navigation Menu → My Students

This page provides a consolidated global roster of all students you teach across all your assigned groups.

How does it differ from a Group list?​

  • Group List: Shows only students enrolled in that specific class and filters information to that course's scope.
  • My Students (Global Roster): Allows you to search for any of your students by name, view their contact details, and access their individual progress profiles.

Individual Student Profile​

Clicking on a student's name opens their personal academic statement sheet:

  • Overall Attendance Rate: The student's attendance history in your classes.
  • Assignments Tab: A log of the student's submissions, grades, and feedback comments.
  • Academic Chart: A visual progress graph showing grade trends over the school year.
