Grades & Progress

The My Grades page is your personal academic statement. From this screen, you can review your average for each course, view detailed score breakdowns for individual assignments, and read teacher feedback.

Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Grades

1. Academic Overview​

At the top of the page you see your Overall average, together with the scale it is measured on (for example 17.80/20).

Each course has its own card with the Course avg, how it changed compared with recently, and a small chart of your recent trend.

2. Detailed Course Breakdown​

Clicking a course opens its detail card:

  • Grade list: Each row has the assessment, the score, the date and the teacher's comments. Where available, the Class average for that assessment is shown too.
  • By Category: The By Category button shows your scores grouped by type (Exams, Quizzes, Homework, Oral/Participation), with the Weight of each category and its Contribution to the course average. Below the table, the Formula shows how the average is calculated, with the scores on the scale of the course.
  • Grade history: A chart of how your scores evolved (Line or Bar).
  • Focus areas: The assessment categories in which your average is lowest.

Grades on the Course Scale​

Each grade is shown together with the maximum of the course's scale, for example 14/20 or 50/100, with its percentage underneath. If one course is graded on a different scale than the others, the overall average is hidden and you see the note "Courses use different scales. See averages per course below." In that case, read the average of each course separately.

Grades from Exams and Make-ups​

  • In calendar: If a grade comes from an exam that exists in the Calendar, an "In calendar" tag appears next to its title. Click it to open the exam in the Calendar.
  • Make-up: The "Make-up" tag next to the date means the grade belongs to a make-up of an exam.

3. Why is my grade not visible?​

If you recently took an exam or submitted homework but do not see your grade listed yet:

  • The teacher has not published the grade yet. Teachers keep grades hidden while reviewing other student submissions so they can release all grades simultaneously.
  • Scores will appear on your portal as soon as the teacher clicks "Publish grades".

4. Teacher Comments & Feedback​

Grades often include detailed feedback text:

  • Read the teacher's feedback comments in the Comments column next to each recorded score.
  • Teachers use these comments to explain errors, clarify grade rubrics, or suggest study focuses for upcoming exams.
