Calendar, Announcements & Settings
Staying organized and keeping in touch with your school is easy using the Calendar, Announcements, and Settings features in your portal.
1. Calendar & Deadlines
Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Calendar (or /student/calendar)
The student calendar is your central study planner. It displays two critical streams of information in one consolidated view:
- 🗓️ Class Schedule: Lists your scheduled lesson hours, assigned rooms, and teachers for each day.
- 📝 Homework Deadlines (Due Date Badges): Assignment and quiz due dates are marked directly on the calendar grid as colored icons on their respective days.
Clicking on an assignment deadline badge on the calendar redirects you directly to the submission form page.
2. Notice Board (Announcements)
Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Announcements
Announcements serve as the official notice board for your school. Here you will find:
- School-wide Notices: Announcements from administrators that apply to all students (e.g., "National Holiday Closure").
- Class-specific Notices: Messages posted by your teachers for your specific group (e.g., "Materials list for tomorrow's lab").
- Pinned Posts: Crucial notifications locked at the top of the feed so they are always visible.
3. Account Settings & Notification Preferences
Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Settings (or /student/settings)
Configure your student profile options in this section.
Profile
- Profile Picture: Upload an avatar picture visible to your teachers and classmates.
- Contact Details: Update your phone number or secondary email address.
Notification preferences
On the Notifications tab, choose which topics you want to receive. Each topic shows channels (Email, SMS, Push, In-app) according to school policy.

How it works:
- Turn each topic on or off.
- Topics marked Locked are mandatory — you cannot disable them.
- Under Grades you can choose Critical (immediate email), Periodic (Friday weekly digest), or Rolling (in-app only).
- In the Language card, choose Greek or English.
- Click Save Preferences or Reset to Defaults.
If push notifications are blocked in your browser, a warning appears — enable them in your browser settings.
Bell and inbox
The header bell shows recent unread notifications. View all opens the inbox with tabs All / Unread / Read / Pinned.
You cannot edit your First Name, Last Name, Login Username/Email, or your Course Enrollments. These institutional fields are locked for security compliance. If you find a mistake, contact the School Administration for corrections.
