Assignments & Quizzes

The student portal allows you to easily track homework assigned by your teachers, upload your answers digitally, and take online timed tests (quizzes).

Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Assignments (or /student/assignments)

1. Searching & Filtering Assignments

Use the dashboard filter tabs to organize your outstanding workload:

  • To Do: Active assignments that you have not yet completed.
  • Submitted: Completed homework files uploaded to the server, awaiting grading review by your teacher.
  • Graded: Evaluated tasks. You can view your final score and read direct teacher feedback comments.
  • Overdue: Tasks past their expiration dates. If the school settings allow, late uploads are still accepted.

2. Homework Submission Flow

To submit an assignment:

  1. Click on the assignment card from the list feed.
  2. Read the Instructions and download any worksheet attachments.
  3. In the "Submit Assignment" section:
    • Type text responses or questions in the input text area.
    • Click "Choose File" to attach document sheets (PDF, Word, or images).
  4. Click "Submit". The task status updates to Submitted instantly.

3. Taking Timed Quizzes

Online quizzes consist of multiple-choice, true/false, or short-answer questions.

Launching a Quiz

  • When opening a quiz task, review the Time Limit duration (e.g., 20 minutes).
  • Click "Start Quiz" to open the confirmation dialog. Once confirmed, the test sheet loads.
CRITICAL WARNING — Quiz Timer Rules

The quiz timer runs continuously and cannot be paused. Once you click the confirmation start button, the countdown timer runs on the server. Closing your web browser, logging out, or experiencing internet disconnects will not pause the timer. The quiz will automatically submit when the duration expires, grading whatever responses were recorded up to that point.

During the Quiz

  • A prominent countdown banner (Quiz Timer Banner) anchors to the top of your page.
  • Select answers for each question. The portal saves your input selections automatically.
  • Click "Submit Quiz" at the bottom of the page when you are finished.

4. Automated Quiz Grading

Many online quizzes (especially those containing only multiple-choice or true/false formats) are auto-graded by the system immediately upon submission.

  • Your score is calculated and displayed on your screen right away.
  • If a quiz contains free-text answers (Short Answer questions), your final grade will update once the teacher manually reviews and scores those responses.
