Main Actions

Create a New Template

Clicking the "New Course" button opens a configuration form where you define:

  • Course Name: The official title (e.g., Physics for High School Juniors).
  • Category: Select from the available curriculum areas.
  • Description: A short outline of the syllabus or level.
  • Grading Settings: The default evaluation scale (e.g., Greek moria scale).
  • Default Duration: The standard length of a teaching session.
Tip

Use clear and descriptive naming conventions for templates. This helps you identify courses easily when creating class groups.

Templates Table

The catalog table displays the following columns:

  1. Course Name: The title of the template.
  2. Category: A color-coded badge indicating the subject area.
  3. Linked Groups: The number of active teaching groups currently spawned from this template.
  4. Actions:
    • Edit: Modify template details.
    • Create Group: Quickly initiate the group wizard with this course's parameters pre-filled.
    • Delete: Remove the template (only allowed if no active groups are linked).
Note

If you attempt to delete a course template that still has active teaching groups, the system will block the action to prevent losing student data. You must archive or delete the corresponding groups first.
