Settings

The Settings dashboard allows you to manage your personal contact details, review linked child student accounts, and configure automated notification subscriptions.

Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Settings (or /parent/settings)


1. Parent Profile Settings

In the Parent Profile tab, you can update your contact attributes:

  • Contact Details: Phone number and email address. It is crucial to keep this information updated, as the school uses these channels for emergency alerts (e.g., auto-absences notifications).
  • Password: Change your portal account login credentials.

2. Linked Children Profiles

This section lists all students associated with your parental account:

  • Displays each child's legal name, registration ID, and their enrolled class groups.
Locked Student Records

Student information (such as spelling of names, course levels, or enrollment statuses) is read-only and cannot be modified by parents. If you notice a typo or discrepancy, contact the School Administration directly for correction.


3. Notification Preferences

Customize when and how the system alerts you:

  • Absences: Get notified immediately when an absence is logged for your child.
  • Grades: Get notified when a teacher publishes new scores.
  • Announcements: Get notified when school board or classroom announcements are posted.
  • Notification Channels: Toggle settings for in-portal notifications, email notifications, or SMS alerts (availability varies based on school options).
