Grades & Attendance
Monitoring your child's academic progress and attendance record is easily managed via the Grades and Attendance sections.
1. Academic Performance (Grades)
Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Grades (or /parent/grades)
This page serves as your child's digital progress report card:
- GPA average: Cumulative average grade across all courses.
- Detailed Subject Log: Expand any course card to display the individual scores (Exams, Quizzes, Homework, Oral/Participation).
- Teacher Feedback: If a teacher logs a comment on an assignment, a chat bubble icon appears. Click it to read the teacher's evaluation notes.
Grades are only released to parent portals once they are published by the teacher (or approved by administrators). If a recent test score is missing, it is currently saved in "Draft" status while grading reviews are finalized.
2. Attendance & Absences Log
Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Attendance (or /parent/attendance)
Track your child's schedule attendance consistency and check logged absences:
Quick Statistics
- Total Hours: The number of scheduled class hours completed.
- Attendance Rate: The percentage of class hours attended (e.g., 95%).
- Total Late Minutes: Cumulative minutes logged for tardiness.
Absence Status Indicators
The lower section displays a chronological log of absences and late arrivals:
| Absence Status | Description |
|---|---|
| 🔴 Unexcused | The student was absent without prior parental notice or justification. |
| 🟢 Excused | The school was notified of the absence reason (e.g., illness), and the ticket is validated. |
| 🟡 Late | The student arrived after class started. The card details the exact minutes late (e.g., 15 minutes late). |
Excused absences display notes entered by school staff or teachers (e.g., "Doctor's note submitted").
