Calendar & Communication
The parent portal provides a unified Calendar to track the schedules of all your children simultaneously, alongside official Announcements and a direct Contact page.
1. Combined Multi-Child Calendar
Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Calendar (or /parent/calendar)
The Parent Calendar displays the class hours of all your children merged onto a single timetable grid.
Child Color Legend
To help you distinguish between your children's schedules:
- Each child is assigned a distinct color marker (e.g., George is color-coded Blue, Mary is color-coded Purple).
- Class cards on the calendar display with the background color matching the respective child.
- A Color Legend is displayed at the top of the calendar grid for quick reference.
If a class session is online, the calendar card includes the connection hyperlink, making it easy to help your child connect to their virtual classroom.
2. School Board Announcements
Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Announcements
Announcements serve as the primary bulletin board for school updates:
- General Announcements: Notices published by school administration that apply to the entire school (holidays, registration updates, events).
- Class-specific Announcements: Targeted updates published by your children's teachers (e.g., "Syllabus review list for Unit 2 Math Exam").
- Pinned Announcements: Essential posts locked at the top of the notice feed.
3. Contacting the School
Where to find it: Navigation Menu → Contact
If you need to contact the school administration or registrar:
- Directory Information: Displays the institution's official phone numbers, email address, physical address, and registry office hours.
- Message Submission Form: You can submit an inquiry directly through the portal:
- Select a category topic (e.g., Absence Justification, Financial Inquiry, General Question).
- Write your message.
- Click "Send Message". The message is routed to the school administration, and replies will be sent to your email.
