Goal of these Guides
The Paideia platform connects the entire ecosystem of an educational organization: administration, teachers, students, and parents. The goal of these guides is to:
- Simplify daily use of the platform for all user roles.
- Provide step-by-step instructions for initial setup configurations and daily workflows.
- Troubleshoot common queries regarding finances, grades, calendars, and myDATA digital tax compliance.
What You Will Learn by Role
The documentation is structured around the specific access roles in Paideia:
🏛️ School Administrators (School Admins)
Administrators have full administrative override rights. In these guides, you will learn how to:
- Bulk import Students and Teachers via CSV files.
- Build Course Templates and organize them into Groups (classes).
- Manage the Calendar using drag-and-drop, resolving classroom and teacher conflicts automatically.
- Track student Attendance and record academic Grades (Moria).
- Set up Tuition Plans, issue invoices, and integrate the ledger with the Greek myDATA (A.A.D.E.) portal for automated tax invoicing.
👨🏫 Teachers
Teachers manage the day-to-day educational progress. These guides cover:
- Viewing your personal weekly Calendar schedule.
- Logging Attendance & Absences in real-time during class.
- Entering Grades and progress comments for each student.
- Publishing Announcements to specific class groups.
👥 Students & Parents
The student and parent portal is optimized for quick information retrieval and utility:
- Parents: Monitor your child's academic progress and attendance, view school announcements, and securely pay tuition fees online.
- Students: View class schedules, grades, makeup sessions, and homework assignments.
How to Get Started
If you are a School Admin, we recommend following these steps to configure your school:
- Initial Setup: Refer to Settings to configure your school profile and classroom directories.
- Staff & Student Registration: Follow the guides for Teachers and Students.
- Course Design: Create your Course Templates and register Groups.
- Billing & myDATA: Set up Financials to enable tuition fee tracking before enrollment starts.
